ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಪಂಚವನ್ನು ಅರ್ಥ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಭೂಗೋಳಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ಅತ್ಯವಶ್ಯಕ. ಪರಿಸರ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿ, ಪೈಲಟ್, ನಕ್ಷೆಗಾರ, ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯ, ಬರಹಗಾರ, ಸಮಾಜ ಸುಧಾರಕ …  ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹುದ್ದೆಗಳಿಗೂ ಇದು ಬೇಕು. ಭೂಗೋಳಶಾಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಬಲ್ಲವರಿಗೆ ಬಹಳ ‘ಡಿಮಾಂಡ್’ ಇದೆ! ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಆಟ, ಲಲಿತಕಲೆ, ಆಹಾರ, ಉಡುಗೆ … ಎಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲೂ ಇದರ ಸ್ವಾರಸ್ಯ ಅಡಗಿದೆ. ಭೂಗೋಳಶಾಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ಹೊಸ ರೀತಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲಿಯಲು ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುವುದೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಗುರಿ.  ೨೧ನೆಯ ಶತಮಾನದ ಭೂಗೋಳಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ಕಲಿಕೆಗೆ ನಿಮಗೆಲ್ಲ ಸ್ವಾಗತ! ಇಲ್ಲಿಯ ಲೇಖನಗಳು  ನಿಮ್ಮ ಅನ್ವೇಷಣೆಗಳಿಗೆ ನಾಂದಿಯಾಗಲಿ!
